Porsche’s next-generation 911 is still in development, but we already know a lot about it. The new 911 will be built on an all-new platform that will be lighter and stiffer than the current car. It will also be powered by an all-new twin-turbocharged flat-six engine that will make around 600 horsepower. The new 911 is expected to debut in late 2022 as a 2023 model.

It’s hard to imagine a sports car as perfect as the 2023 Porsche 911. It might sound like an exaggeration but as soon as you step into the cabin you immediately know you’re sitting in a special place. The steering wheel is just the right size. The driving position provided by the Supreme The comfortable seats are close to the ground but also practical and easy to get in and out of.
The interior is immaculately designed and finished with luxurious materials. That’s when you fire up the glorious six-cylinder engine or deal with a set of switchbacks and enjoy the 911’s telepathic steering and Steady handling that pushes you to drive it harder and faster.
However, this perfection still doesn’t stop Porsche from coming up with new improvements. Since its debut in 2020 the 911’s line-up has gone from strength to strength and this year was no exception. The new Sport Classic model is based on the Turbo model with a 3.8 litter turbocharged six-cylinder engine produces a stout 543 horsepower and 442 pound-feet of torque.
That’s a lot less than the Turbo’s 572 hp and 553 lb-ft but the Sport Classic promises a more rewarding driving experience with its rear-wheel-drive layout and forced manual transmission.

2023 Porsche 911 Performance
Mounted at the rear of the 911 is a twin-turbocharged 3.0 litter opposed-six engine. The base Carrera has 379 horsepower the S pumps out 443 ponies and the GTS produces 473 horses.
While every model comes standard with a ridiculously quick-shifting eight-speed automatic transmission A seven-speed manual is available, but you have to pay for the S or GTS to get it. The coupe and convertible have standard rear-wheel drive, but they can be equipped with all-wheel drive for high-performance driving in all four seasons.

How does the 911 drive? We tested the 911 Carrera S with the PDK eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. In any case acceleration is very quick. The interior of the 911 continues to look refined rather than sophisticated with a mix of push-button knobs and touchscreen controls as well as the first-ever large central cupholder. Porsche bills itself as a manufacturer of driving cars citing technology and infotainment as secondary concerns. While some owners may appreciate the sentiment we’re sure many more will be disappointed by the execution and functionality of the 911’s many premium features.
For example many drivers will find high-definition touchscreens and controller knobs placed within easy reach while on-screen buttons are too small.
Apple CarPlay with wireless connectivity is easier to use and has more natural voice control than Porsche’s native system but Android Auto A cable is required. The standard audio system is a real disappointment – it sounds weak and the stage sucks.
2023 Porsche 911 Infotainment and Connectivity
Every 911 is equipped with a 10.9-inch touchscreen integrated into the middle of the dashboard. In addition to voice commands and buttons on the steering wheel the centre screen has rotary button controls on the console.
Infotainment system supports Wi-Fi hotspot wireless Apple CarPlay and wired Android Auto. Porsche does offer two high-end surround sound systems including a 12-speaker Bose unit and a 13-speaker Burmese stereo system.

Overall comfort is impressive considering the performance the 911 offers. The optional ventilated adaptive sports seats are comfortable even after a few hours of driving.
Our test vehicle had optional sport suspension. With it, you will feel every flaw in the road, but it will have an impact It’s by no means harsh even when you’re driving in sport mode.
Road noise is more noticeable than some rival sports cars, but it’s not harsh. The engine sounds rough and surprisingly rough on cold starts, and it doesn’t really start to sound like a proper 911 flat-6 until you get high revs. New 911 buyers may not mind but will return Customers will be troubled by the sound of older 911s.

Base pricing for the Carrera and Carrera S is the same as other sports car rivals, but you don’t get as many standard features as the competition. At this price rivals like the BMW M850i are almost fully loaded.
In some cases you have to pay tens of Thousands of dollars to fit a 911 to similar specs. Of course the build quality is excellent and Porsche offers almost endless personalization opportunities. It is comparable to similar products in terms of warranty coverage and ownership experience.

Porsche’s new 911 is the best one yet. The range-topping GT3 model has a naturally aspirated 4.0 litter flat-six engine with 500 horsepower and 339 lb-ft of torque. The sprint to 60 mph takes just 3.2 seconds, and top speed is 196 mph.
The new 911 is also available in Turbo and Turbo S models, which use a 3.0 litter twin-turbo flat-six engine with 530 hp and 523 lb-ft in the Turbo and 640 hp and 590 lb-ft in the Turbo S. The 0-60 mph times are 2.9 seconds and 2.8 seconds, respectively, and both have a top speed of 205 mph.
