The all-new 2023 Mini Cooper SE is an electric car that was designed with the environment and budget-conscious drivers in mind. The SE comes in three different models: the hardtop, convertible, and clubman.
All three models come with a standard range of 110 miles per charge and an optional extended range of 180 miles per charge. The SE starts at $29,900 and goes up to $34,900 for the convertible.
For the 2023 model year the all-electric 2023 Mini Cooper Electric will get a special edition. Major aesthetic and interior revisions including new tail lights and a frameless cent retail lights screen can be seen in images of the soon-to-be-revised electric Mini Cooper.

The 2023 Mini Cooper Electric starts at the same price as last year. This makes the base model a great value offering plenty of standard features such as automatic dual-zone climate control heated front seats faux leather upholstery LED front lighting hands-free passive entry and rain sensing Windscreen wipers.
Resolute Edition aesthetic package includes Rebel Green paint white roof and mirror caps. It also features bronze hood stripes and trim around the grille and other exterior trim pieces.

If you use home AC charging 7.4 kW can fully restore the battery in four hours. The small hatchback’s two-mode regenerative braking system also helps maximize battery power.

The Mini Electric has a combined MPG rating of 108. By comparison the Bolt EV’s combined 118-mpg and the Leaf’s 111-mpg. We won’t be able to confirm the Mini’s government estimates until we test its real-world range on a 75-mph highway route as part of our Extensive testing program.

The combined MPGe rating of the Mini Electric is 108. By comparison the Bolt EV has a combined rating of 118 MPGe while the Leaf has a combined rating of 111 MPGe.

The photos were taken at a factory in China and circulated on Chinese social media. In the photo there are several other camouflaged models parked nearby next to the unmasked Mini. It has no visible tailpipes and only a handful of front-end air intakes suggesting it’s an electric model.

The new Mini Cooper SE is the brand’s first all-electric car. It has a range of up to 145 miles and can be recharged in as little as three and a half hours using a fast charger.
The SE comes with a 7.4 kW onboard charger as standard, which can be upgraded to an 11 kW charger for faster charging times.
The new Mini Cooper SE is available in three different trim levels: Classic, Sport, and Exclusive. Prices start at $29,900 for the Classic trim and go up to $36,900 for the Exclusive trim.
