According to the Maverick Truck Club, the order pool for the 2023 Ford Maverick will open on August 16, 2022. Production of these Maverick models will then begin on October 24, 2022. It only takes two months from ordering to production.
However,order, depending on the production and delivery dates of your order, you may have to wait longer to receive your truck. Also, because these dates are still a few months away, they are subject to change. Ongoing semiconductor chip shortages supply chain issues and shipping issues could lead to delay.

The Maverick features a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine mated to a hybrid system that produces 191 hp and 155 lb-ft of torque. You can upgrade the 2.0-liter four-cylinder to 250 hp and 277 lb-ft of torque.
The Hyundai Santa Cruz features a 2.5-liter inline-four with 191 horsepower and 181 pound-feet of torque. You can upgrade to a 2.5-liter four-cylinder turbo for 281 horsepower and 311 pound-feet of torque.
When properly equipped, the Maverick can tow up to 4000 pounds and carry up to 1500 pounds of payload. The Santa Cruz can tow up to 5000 pounds and carry up to 1906 pounds of payload.
